Hi Carol, they are hardy at least for monsoon rains, and put up a brilliant show, almost through the year here! I have a pink variety, in my plant album. But need to be little careful as they self seed, sometimes in an unwanted area!
Mine is in a pot but needs repotting and feeding. It's a bit spindly. At least I don't have monsoon rains here. 😊 @drumadixit
