I think this clematis is freckles never thought it would flower this year as its owner pruned it hard in August

Yes tis 💕 and mines done the same. Had to hack mine right back as it got so badly scorched in the heat! It’s smothered in blooms...and they’re a bit early!

It is 'FRECKLES' Carol .....I have this beauty. Doesn't actually need pruning according to research 👍☺
