They seem to like this particular tree but don't often manage to catch them in it close up. I took the photo quickly before they took off, which they did soon after. We love seeing them spiralling round and they're quite vocal so usually hear them first @pelly @sherrisgarden 🦅

Do you know I've never heard them. Perhaps they are too high? 🤔

Hope you do get to hear them Jane, it's very distinctive. I talk to them when they come down low but that's just me being bonkers 😅 @pelly

Wonderful to see, I love whistling to the raptors. @churchfarmgarden we had some Kites released by the RSPB near us.

Glad it's not just me then @pelly and @thehardygardener. We're not too far from the Chiltern Hills where they released the first batch and they've gradually spread across. They also released some Buzzards in the nature reserve next to us but they're not as entertaining.

We love them Ange @anges it's a mission of mine to get a really good photo of one in flight. My camera on my phone might not be up to it 🤔

We used to see a lot of Buzzards, but there don't seem to be as many this year 🤔
