I have trouble growing dahlias don't know why.

Trust me @irissmith I am no expert. We planted these in a large container mixed with lavender and dianthus. Mixed some bonemeal with compost and maybe a small bit of vermiculite if I remember right. Sunny spot, water daily. Seems to be doing ok!
