3 Pineapples for #gyo 🍍🍍🍍 #pineapple
Can u eat those.
The mother plant most likely dies off and usually produces a new plant. All of these have a baby plant coming in😃
@kelsey92 It's a Pineapple🍍
Katy you can slice the top off about an inch below the fruit and plant it. I’ve had success and I’m terrible at propagation and seeds. Look on you tube for videos as well. Nice going Kyle, sorry to highjack your post. @gjones
@philstalder That is where these 3 originally came from(grocery store bought). They are super easy. You can just set it and forget it😄
That's really great👍
That’s awesome. I should try it again. It’s been a while. Enjoy 😊
Oh I don’t remember. It’s been a few years since I did it. @gjones
Mouth watering 👄
@gjones They get watered every few days from my sprinklers. The Pineapple on the bottom right almost never gets watered and still produced a fruit😃
@crabby58 @bks Thank you both😄

My Pineapple plant is growing a new plant on the right side. It will eventually replace the larger plant and produce its own fruit🍍 #pineapple #newgrowth
😲 can you eat that ?
Can u eat the fruit or not.
@charlotte @kelsey92 Yes you can eat it🤣It not quite ready to pick yet though. Homegrown pineapples taste much sweeter than store bought😋
What variety is that pineapple plant is.
@kelsey92 I'm not sure of the variety
Wow. Wish I lived where you live .
Oooh a 🍍 I say, nice 🍍🍍🧡
Yummy and great info.

Does anyone else cringe inside when you hear the lawn man show up😬
😳H..N😶
@crabby58 exactly😬
Yep!
🙈 - I have the same feeling about the guys that come to mow the grass verge on the roadside, it has a lovely cherry tree but every time they come another bit of bark gets damaged!
OMG yes! One of those phules took a weed whacker and buzzed every single flower off my aster plant. For. No. Reason.
@emch it can be very frustrating😞
You said a mouthful @cowdenkyle

You wait forever for Pineapples to grow just for it to get eaten by some animal. It was almost ready to pick😡
😲😲😲 that's really frustrating
@charlotte I'm thinking it was a Racoon.
I feel for you 😥 we have a terrible time with ground hogs, getting under our garden fence for our tomatoes😵Very Frustrating
Oh no, what a shame 😳💛💛maybe pop something to cover it next time. It's awful to lose that.
Ouch!
@crabby58 @midnightgardener @novicegardenlover Next time I'll try to cover it. I'm glad I got 2 this year but a third would have been nice😊
It sure would
So sorry that had to happen Kyle. We relocated 12 grey squirrels from our yard to a nearby forested area. They were wrecking our bird feeders. We checked online to make sure we were not upsetting the balance of things. They were big males. So much wildlife lately. 😍😍
@gjones @hkyfvr Certainly is disappointing but at least it was the only plant that was messed with. If I had a bird feeder here the birds would be lucky to get any seed with all the squirrels we have. They are greedy little buggers😃
Awwww nooo! 😩🌞
In Finland we dont even hawing pineapples
