Hey if you would like any native tiny trees, I can post to you? Then you can train them from babies, great long time project's
@thehardygardener Aly, that would be fantastic! That's pretty much my goal too. I'm trying to work on my patience as I usually want instant results. I've got a fee maturer ones to keep me sane but some babies would be very welcomed. I have taken some cuttings from azalea, rhododendron and ficus so hopefully have my own for next year too.
All my babies are grown in Scotland so pretty hardy! I will post photo of the ones available, you can choose better then
Well they won't be moving far as I'm in Glasgow! :-)
its ulmus?
It sure is 👍 @sinukarta
Process of the #bonsai . From plant to bonsai. Bent a little much and broke. However with cambium layer still in tact I glued it back together. Has recovered well and is looking good. Next step is thickening the trunk.
its ulmus? its oke for broken one.. you can apply cambium ointment on those broken trunk, and it will be accelerate healing of the cambium layer.. i hope it will help.. 👍👍👍
Nice pot
Brilliant.
Thank you all ! @sinukarta @thehardygardener @johninbrighton . Dyan this one is a Commonn Box which I don't believe is part of the Ulmus family but I could be wrong.
That’s great Craig...I find the art of bonsai fascinating 👌
