This is so interesting! I've never noticed before that the leaves sprout in different shades of red and pink. 😍😍 Mine seen to be like the bottom right and bottom left 😊

Mine are just red dots in the ground.....😏😉

Top left and bottom middle are both tree peonies so they don’t like quite different to the rest for sure! They do seem to vary for each variety though @ublaszko 🥰

The bottom right only really started creating a couple of days ago Elaine, I was getting worried it wasn’t going to emerge at all @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

Thanks Dan 😉 mine is in a pot, hoping it hasn’t rotted with all the wet weather. Bulbs in same pot are flowering so hopefully ok @dan5584

I thought they might be tree peonies. They seem to have more pink in the new growth. Mine are border peonies. ☺

I’m just going out to check the ones in the front garden Dan, they’re usually early too.
