Oak tree uncovered when I cleared a huge hedge opening up the view. I couldn’t set the chain saw on it! Is it cruel to keep it pruned low???

@linfoster it may be the trees response after having been pruned into a hedge by the previous owners, and the joy of being set free, resulting with this intense display of joy, never seen before by the human species!
