It’s supposed to have holes but only two leaves do. Pretty and healthy but not what I want.

It will, give it time. As the plant matures, it will begin to split. Unless you were wanting the adansonii. This is the deliciosa. Hence the problem with "common names" because it too is called the Swiss cheese. This is my favorite leaf in the world. The monstera deliciosa Before it splits. I think its the absolute perfect heart-shaped leaf!

SAME!! I have a few plants that flower. But they are in the vegetable garden. And they have a purpose. And chances are good that one day I will have a flower bed or 2 or 4. But if I don't, I won't even care . Just as long as I am surrounded in beautiful foliage 💚

Mine produced its first split leaf a few weeks ago after taking it as a cutting from my sister’s plant March 20, as @popos.plants says they do take their time 👍🏼😀

I wonder why the name, I would think it would have ‘holy’ leaves to get that name.

It’s still very young @pooh4jvn if you look closer there is one leaf with a hole. The older they get the more holes

@hannahchristine you should get one of those little greenhouses for the winter, there not that expensive

I didn’t know that the leaves of the split leaf sweat after watering. Cherie, my wife said it looked like it was crying. Very cool 😎 #fromabove

Pretty cool @kelsey92 right ! I do a lot of green house plants and not too many house plants. It was the first time to see weeping leaves
