When I wasn’t paying attention, one of these #lithops decided to #grow 😊 I’m posting this because I have to change batteries in all the smoke detectors today. #tedious so maybe I can think of this while I balance on the ladder😬
@dirtgirlworld why do they always choose to signal “low battery” at 2am? I’m not enduring that again. 🤦🏻♀️
Hes sticking his tongue out!
@heatherdirtyhands right??? I’m super excited😂 I found one more #sprouting so if all goes well, I’ll try #pollinating the two of them 😳🤞🏼
Looking good 👍

Finally! #lithops #bloom
Beautiful. Mine are about a week behind urs.
Thank you @txgardener I don’t quite know what I’m doing re:pollination, so I took a small makeup brush and went between this bloom and the other 2. I’ve never thought to pollinate before, have you done it?
Yeah actually @sunlovin and I were talking about that a few days ago. I have but have not had any luck with it so far. I think I'm gonna stick mine (it's in a pot) next to my Mexican Heather that is covered in bees and maybe just maybe they will pollinate it for me. 🤞 Let us know how it goes. 😉
I saw “dust” as I was doing it, but whether that was pollen or eye shadow, IDK. Super smart idea to put yours out by the heather! If it wasn’t so muggy outside, I’d think about bringing mine by my butterfly bush, but it’s too dangerous. As it is, I have a few that feel “squishy”, so I’m feeling them up daily and keeping a fan on them now. @txgardener
Beautiful flower worth waiting on 👌
Thank you Noel @nojo920
These look great! I've pollinated successfully with a makeup brush (use a separate brush per species if you don't want "mutt" lithops).
@sushiwaitress uh ohhh😳
