Been away for a couple of weeks and found some new seedlings in bloom. It fills a gap so no complaints. Will pull It all out in autumn #blue 💙

Oh no ! The dreaded Alkanet is back lol. I pull it all up after it has flowered and it reappears the following year. Hubby likes it so it’s here to stay ! 💙💙💙💙

Big leaves and tiny flowers 😍
I've always wondered why it is called green?
Dont know Kathy @kathy , I didnt even know its name. @tiggrx told me 😉😉😉
@kathy in old books it's called 'Evergreen Alkanet' as a contrast to some other Alkanet species which die down over winter. I'm not sure why Evergreen was contracted to Green.
