Oh no ! The dreaded Alkanet is back lol. I pull it all up after it has flowered and it reappears the following year. Hubby likes it so it’s here to stay ! 💙💙💙💙

Keep an eye on this it really spreads and takes over. Don't be fooled by flowers. Long root and is difficult to remove.

@kathy in old books it's called 'Evergreen Alkanet' as a contrast to some other Alkanet species which die down over winter. I'm not sure why Evergreen was contracted to Green.

It is Green Alkanet (Pentaglottis sempervirens). It's pretty but difficult to keep under control.
