My aeonium is getting top heavy - I am told I can cut it back but am worried I might loose it - any advice most welcome

Hi Gerard, you can remove some of the rosettes and replant them to root as new plants 😊

Hi mate ,you cut the tops off ,keep some stem 6inch , leave on shady spot for 4days till end drys then place in terracotta pot with 50% compost 50% grit sand , push stem in half way put on windowsill in shade after a week give little water , when looking as if it's growing treat as mother plant, i have lots of Aeonium . 🌵😀

Many thanks - after I cut the tops off will the original plant re-shoot or should I discard it.
