This is Clarence now. About a month after I got him (September) I started having problems with Clarence. First, the mouths wouldn't open after digesting. Then, one head closed very slowly it took maybe 10 minutes and wouldnt seal. Next, heads started dieing quicker then they were replaced. I moved him to a different spot hoping that it might benefit him. Now he is growing baby heads very rapidly. Some die before they get big but those that do get big don't mature and get pink centers. I haven't
That's totally normal....thats the regular cycle of a venus fly trap
Your venus fly trap is fine....growing perfectly normally....the centers are supposed to get pink...even red. On some not on all. The traps die after two digestions....perfectly normal...sometimes even one....
@PunkyKy The thing is I haven't been feeding him to often. Should I feed him more? And none of them are turning pink. Thanks for the comment.
Sorry I misread....they don't always have to turn pink...some don't. Where do you keep him?

@PunkyKy I keep him on an east facing window. Indoors because it isn't the right climate for him but he is in a little container for humidity.
It's Autumn it's time for him to start cooling down.....he needs to go dormant to live a long life.
Keep cool he can survive even brief freezes.
@PunkyKy ok thank you so much you have been a great help!
