So this is what the whole thing looks like the new growth is where the string is tied onto the stick. It's gonna be weird right? Not sure what I'll do. Any suggestions? Do u think the growth will be branches or just leaves? #fiddleleaffig #newgrowth #plantadvice #plantquestion #planthelp
Also ignore the mess im doing some cleaning and rearranging

So I was looking at my flf because my cat had disrupted it and i thought it wad just the string I had to tie it up with after it broke in the wind but surprisingly there are a few growth points! I dont know if the break triggered new growth or what. Will they be new branches?? Just leaves?? I dont know but it def will look weird because there's a few feet of bare stem until I get to the top leaves I'll post a pic. Can't wait to see it tho. Maybe I'll have to chop it and prop it idk #newgrowth #f
I know right? I cant wait. Hopefully the boys don't break off the new nubs @columbiariver

My new #flf leaves are so dark green and healthy and it's crazy its putting out #newgrowth considering a storm snapped its stem and it cant stand up straight. I never even staked it or anything it's just leaning on another plant. So thankful
I thought it was a goner
I want to get this plant but I heard it's care is tricky

I was thinking this plant looked terrible and was doing so bad. Now it's growing a new leaf. Just wish it was as full and gorgeous as it was in the beginning. What happened? #fiddleleaffig #newleaf
My theory, like most plants old leaves wilts and start producing new leaves, like how hair n feathers shed to make way of new growth. Trim off the old leaves to make room of fresh young growth.
My stem will just keep getting longer and longer lol if a keep removing leaves. It used to have 4 or 5 stalks and now only 1 has leaves and nothing is growing back on them yet. I even trimmed back the stems to hope for new growth. Maybe in time. Well see... @Papa3D1S
I hope it goes well for ya. Best of luck to ya.

As I was writing my pilea post I heard something and looked over and these two beautiful leaves fell off my fiddle leaf fig from two different branches but side by side ughhhhh whyyyyyy??? Its even getting a new leaf on one of the branches that I recently posted. #plantquestion #planthelp #ihatewinter #fiddleleaffig im.so.sad im losing plants left and right because of this dark ass winter. Its Christmas time and i cnanot afford grow lights right now so dont even suggest it lol
My house is too dark to keep my plants healthy and grow lights are not cheap. I did find a grow bulb (5" diameter)at lowes last year and a short, 12-13" grow light at Walmart in their light dept. They aren't enough but they help

So since taking my water propagated cutting out and putting it in dirt it seems to be doing pretty well. #fiddleleaffig-propagation #fiddleleaffigcutting #cutting #fiddleleaffig #waterpropagation

New growth! It lost some leaves from sun and the wind I think but its replacing like crazy. Im so happy was so worried about taking care of this but I think I'm.getting the hang of it #fiddleleaf #newgrowth
So those little leaves are making it. So weird they are at the base of such a long stem. I guess we'll see what happens #fiddleleaffig #newgrowth
