Clearly @ErinMc @janeypop 😞some people say having gravel around the base helps deter slugs/snails as they don't like walking on it- equally others have placed used coffee grounds around the base too.
Oh dear.
I've lifted that and 3 other hostas from the shady border they were in, to hopefully, the slight safety of pots! Time will tell
This is exactly what they did to my marigolds 😢 nothing left but a stump & slime.
@janeypop ......such a shame. I grow my HOSTAS in pots and never get this problem :)
