Possibly, but yours will be in flower when mine's done. I know they can become a bit thuggish, so I'll have to watch it. This is the first time mine's flowered. Grew it from seed about 5 years ago so it's been a long wait! @vec
Wow, mine is an offshoot I dug up from a previous garden. I've just given an off shoot away which appeared in the soil around a banana I dug back out to overwinter. Little beggars soon spread around
You're so kind Terri 💖😊 Thank you. I do like unusual plants, but beauty too. This ticks both boxes I guess, as they're not that common here @terrimclaughlin
Way ahead of mine not that I can see to the back of the border anymore for spikes 😉
It's only coloured up in the last few days, with 4 more flower spikes to follow. It is in a south facing spot though @vec
Mine is north facing unfortunately but maybe it holds them back from taking over 😂

I have seen massive clumps of it in some big gardens. It's a beautiful & unusual flower. Just Hope I don't live to regret ever growing it! @vec
I’m always excited to look at your posts. Leave it up to you to have the unique and beautiful my friend 🥰☺️😊💕
