Acanthus mollis

Oh my, these really do drink a lot of water, where’s the hose

They look as if they do...beauties though..

I like these & they look much lighter in colour than the common ones 👍

They’re so lovely! but decided to get rid of mine a few years ago, it started as a cutting and was beautiful for years then it started getting mildew 🤔 it was quite large so we split it & but didn’t help ... so we decided to try different locations front & back garden BUT they all still got mildew 🤔 Eventually gave up and dug them all out 😕 BUT even years later those mildewed leaves keep appearing 😬😬😬 it has become our nemesis 🤪😂
