Cucurbita Pepo var. Cylindrica

So overnight, some alien colony came into my garden and left this giant 38 cm courgette/zuchinni in my garden! I had no idea that they grow so big. Not bad for a first timer experimenting with vegetables.

Nice one!! They can get huge. I've seen 2+ feet long, way over 10lbs, but that size is not good for eating. @kaigia

@saco thanks! This was hidden under all the big leaves. We had it for supper and it tasted very good.

Could it be the Tesco delivery man? 🤣🤣🤣A real whopper! Agree with @gjones @saco; picking them before they get too big is better. I've used the biggest in a vegetable Lasagne, so it's blended in well with other tasty veg and spices. Enjoy........!
