I had several. My loving children kept watering them so the eventually drowned. I didn't have a bunch of flies so I bought tiny crickets and live meal worms from the pet store. They have those types of insects on hand for lizards, frogs, and other insect eaters.

Right, I read that, but apparently it goes dormant so it eats very little and feeds off photosynthesis (light. Sun)

Well I bought some meal worms like you would feed turtles. They were on the shelf next to crickets etc. The website that NiseB suggested said it was good. They only eat every 2-3 weeks. I fed them and so far all is well. Ty for the help, we will see what happens and I will keep you updated.

I bought it at Home Depot. Care instruction were extremely vague. I googled it, but wasn't satisfied with the answers.
