Yes it makes you rethink what's realistic to grow, I lost quite a bit this winter, hebes, banana, lemon and a few salvias. Won't replace them, am taking it as a hint to adapt 🥀 @columbiariver @KariSamuel @kez001uk

Been a bad winter in the garden and the greenhouse Kerry , I’ve lost most in the greenhouse and some in the garden that I’ve had for years , think we’re all going to give more thought to what sustainable in the future 🤔😘

I’m sorry about the rest but so glad this has survived 💗💚

It’s an absolute trooper getting through the winter and flowering in the face of it 😂 I’m with you all, planting for these extremes in weather has to be the way to go now. It’s hard losing plants but it’s a chance to learn from it if nothing else 💚

@cyndi it does look quite different to yours. The foliage isn’t as thick and there aren’t spikes on this one. Maybe it’s a slightly different type. The flowers do look the same though 😜
