One thing to be thankful for your long, cold winters that kill off these horrid and destructive plant munchers.
@cyndi I didn’t realise they were bad bugs until I’d seen some of your posts. Destructive little 💩’s
@Annettenoosa very true! That’s one of the very few benefits though 🤣 can’t wait to be rid of them and earwigs. The number of plants they’ve eaten holes in is ridiculous 😡
I have to declare war on them this week. They did not die down in our warm Winter. They ate all my vegies last year, now they are eating everything else. Best time to catch them is evening and early morning when they sleep on leaves and are easier to catch. I love nature and bugs that eat a fair feed, but I can find no warmth in my heart for these pests. Even the birds avoid them.
@Annettenoosa that’s awful! No wonder you want rid! Exactly, eating a little here and there is fine but when something does that much damage it’s gotta go! I hope you manage to get rid of as many as you can 🤞🏻
I didn't realise these were such a pest. Thankfully I never see any up here.
@cyndi always the way, have a forest but want your plants 😡 evil things 😝
Oh no not good. We don't like these little blighters 😨
@jeatacake you’re lucky! See a fair few here but they’re less of a pain than earwigs 😡
@midnightgardener we certainly do not 😝
Don't get many earwigs either, just loads of slugs, snails & greenflies 😕
