So proud of this mango tree. Grew it from a keitt mango I dunno I get confused, let's say those huge head sized mangos from the store. Lol. I heard that mango trees from stores don't fruit. I'm thinking why not? But then again I read that you can graft them or whatever or wait like 5 to 8years. Sometimes they can fruit in 3yrs with like all the right conditions I also read. I dunno. I also read that from a seed they have an "indestructible" root system. #tree #mango

Wowo interesting

Hi Talia! That's right. I've heard that many fruit trees in order to give fruits need a male and female plant to be close to eachother. Or to graft them as you well said :) or to buy an hybrid already grafted. I've seen crossbreeding too in youtube ( maybe you can cross male and female without graft being necessary?).
My mango has grown so much bigger! Growing a new set of leaves up top.
