The beginnings of my #elephantbush #bonsai . 8/2017
I must read up on how to do this 😊
I'm curious about them too @angiecrazycatlady! How long have you been training this one?
@KariSamuel our tree shaped succulents would be perfect for it but I have no idea how to do It, I must get googling. Janice how long does it take to get a plant to look like a recognisable bonsai 😊
Cool Janice! 😎
That is really neat! @lovestogarden
This plant is about two years or so. I took it and let it dry out with no water given it about a month and when it was weak (cruel aren't I?) and bendable, I potted it and sent it. I have used old electrical wire so it was strong and yet not going to cut into the plant. It has been in this tied position for a few months. I am going to put rocks on the soil to keep it from floating off when I water it. Continued.....
Cont.... I started normal watering once it was in the tied-up state. I should have kept better records/dates, but had no idea what I was doing.... All experimental and from reading on Google. @angiecrazycatlady @KariSamuel
Thank you for your votes of confidence! @angiecrazycatlady @KariSamuel @PunkyKy @kimguy ❤❤❤❤
