Buddleja

I think ants are eating my buddleia! Any suggestions guys?!

I had ants farming greenfly for the sticky stuff they secrete. I put a ladybird on the shrub to eat the greenfly and the ants attacked the ladybird. I then put ant killer down and killed the plant!!!

Oh dear. I fear she is doomed...😟

I'd be tempted to cut it right back and let it resprout hopefully less foliage and the ants may loose interest. I have buddlejia and not come across this.

I have cut it back autumn last year down to soil level as I thought it would help too....😕
