Love hosta's but so do the slugs .. I've put bark mulch round to hopefully minimise damage this year 🐞
@loubeth fingers crossed for you but I have bark around mine and they've been great past 2 years but this year looks like slugs have nibbled parts, any #advice #hosta @mikethegardener
I plant mine in pots and put grit around the top and a few slug pellets. It helps a lot but not completely fool-proof. Copper tape around pots is also very effective, I've heard!
