@sieveheadsarah I normally cheat and buy a planted large hanging basket. This is North facing so I choose carefully!

And why not, sometimes it’s better value to do that 😀

@suerichards Pots standing in a gravelled area, and sides of pot rims smeared with Vaseline. The Vaseline seems to work very well! 😀
