Looks like I'm not the only one in love with Sedum plants. I just love how this plants looks like one large bloom from a distance and up close.it is a cluster of tiny delicate flowers. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me. #sedum #petitelakestepright #zone5b #zone5 #wildlifewednesday

Learning to transition to a low maintenance garden. I potted all deck planters with #sedum perennials. Center variegated sedum should mound and sprout white flowers ontop of 1 foot stems surrounded by #russiansedum that will cascade with yellow flowers and the leaves turn orange in the fall. #zone5 #zone5b

What is that gorgeous tri-colored rose-looking flower?

@ktreers it's a miniature rose. The color change as it blooms is amazing. I'm going to try to let these go to rose hips. If you'd like some seeds send me an email at petitelake@yahoo.com and when I have hips I'll send them off to you.

I planted this in 1997 from a clipping from my mother's plants, which she planted in 1965 from a clipping from her mother's plant. Back then we called them Everblooms. I have many, many more plants propogated or split from the original plant throughout the yard. #zone5 #zone5b
