Chaenomeles x superba 'Crimson and Gold'

#quince ripening nicely on my #ornamentalquince tree. It has wonderful Crimson blossom in late winter/early spring when nothing else is flowering. Lovely shrub! #harvest #autumnharvest

Yes they are ripe when yellow. I will keep them on as long as possible then make quince liqueur ready for Christmas! 🍹@gjones
