@lesliecole49 Yes some Opuntia shrivel and wither during the colder months. It will return to its normal erect state some time in March or April!

They are hardy here in middle TN but I never paid attention to their winter habit

This one doesn't look that great right now that's because it was harvested from the wild and soaked in a neem oil solution before planting but by the end of the summer it'll look great. This cactus is actually better than Aloe Vera when it comes to skincare and it's edible and very nutritious.
