Those are so cool. 😊
Saw some being sold at a Walmart near me. My first time seeing them - they so small! I had always envisioned them as large scary plants
Lol!! Like that movie where it comes alive?! Had rick moranis in it. It seems to be the only plant 🌱 my hubby shows real interest in. Lol 😆 he doesn't know what to think about my plant obsession!
Yup Little Shop of Horrors lol
FEED ME!!!

I made a new home ( #bog ) for my #venusflytrap . The other one kept getting knocked over. Lost some traps that way.
This one looks very healthy #dionaeamuscipula
I'm trying to take good care of him @toddbrandino

My #venusflytrap in it's new #bog . It's not the perfect bog.... But it will do for now till I can actually get my outside #boggarden set up. I am going to have many more #carnivorousplants !

I know some of you are into these little guys. I'm trying to start a #carnivorous collection myself.... I'd like to know more about them. Any good tips would be appreciated. #carnivorousplants
@toddbrandino see above post.🤗
Thanks! Any and all help is appreciated! @purplebird @toddbrandino
Your welcome, he is great with the meat eaters.🤗
@PunkyKy for venus fly traps they can tolerate a variety of light but do best with 6 hours i always keep mine moist and i have mine planted in sphagnum moss but there are a variety of substrates to use as long as they have little to no nutrition otherwise it can kill the plant, it says to water with rainwater or bottled but as long as the ppm (parts per million) in the water is less than 200 its good for carnivorous plants and venus flytraps do need a dormancy period as well otherwise
...they can die within 2 years without the dormancy period and if you want to feed them just make sure the bug fits nicely inside the traps or it will rot that trap you fed and 1 bug per week being hand fed is a good amount because of course they will catch their own
And the bug has to be alive in order to stimulate the hair triggers in the mouth of the trap, i use tweezers to feed mine
Thank you very much! @toddbrandino
