See the smaller traps clustered around the bottom..those are the low lying winter traps they start developing in autum....then the others start turning black and dying back. Yes....you can feed it....but living outside, it catches its own food!

Hey @PunkyKy what did you do the lil pitcher plant from the grocery store? The one I got from Wal-Mart isn't doing well but may be bc I forgot about it for a few days

I just put it outside and made sure I kept it moist. Trimmed off and black traps... is it getting cool where you are? Do you have It inside or outside? It may be going into dormancy and it will look like it dying but it's not. Just keep cool and moist it'll come back in the spring. @FieryJude

I've kept it inside on a sunny window ledge. A lot of it turned black so I trimmed them off. Been using distilled water, there appears to be new growth. Should I relocate it @PunkyKy?
