Dahlia 'Bishop of Llandaff'

I love the contrast between the bright flower and the dark leaves. I would certainly advocate bringing dahlias on indoors with under heating in spring, it is huge and full of flowers. It didn’t flower at all last year when brought on outside! #dahliaday

When you bring it in do you water it?

Yes, once I’d potted up the tuber in spring I kept it on a windowsill above a radiator and watered it regularly. It will need water at this stage as it will be actively growing 🤞🏻 @sharonhayden

It does indeed! It’s definitely worth the effort but most of the time there aren’t the hours in the day, particularly when life gets in the way 😂 @sharonhayden

My #dahlia didn’t even get round to flowering last year, so I tried giving it a helping hand on a windowsill over a radiator and this is the result! Bigger now than all of last summer, really happy. #mondaymotivation have a great day everyone!
