My first Peony 😊

Planted 15th March

43 years ago! I moved houses and there was one in the garden with a lovely scent, sold it and had to wait to move to the next but I dug it up and took it to my parents who planted it. About 30 years ago split some of it and I've still got it😄

What a wonderful story @Kathy, that's lovely to have a plant that's been with you and part of your life for this time. I have an agapanthus that's been with me for 20 years 😀

Sarah Bernhardt is one of my favourite Peonies. Makes a wonderful cut flower to, although you are best to give it a few years to establish before taking flowers. 😀

Yay! These are one of my favourites. I grow them in our cut flower patch at the allotment, numerous varieties because they just make me smile 👍🏻😊

Thanks Claire - I'll remember that, as I want it to get settled in really well. I read they take a couple of seasons to get established so I'll resist from taking some cut flowers this year 😊👍🏼 @cjgardener
