These Trachycarpus seedlings are doing very well. Took a while to get going since my last pic, but thickening up nicely. Couple of new leaves last year, slow but good 👍🏼

I wish I had fast forward button sometimes though Jane! 😂😂 🏃🏻‍♂️ it was a freebie from another order so thought I’d see what happens. Not sure I’ll end up keeping two 🤔 but we’ll see @pelly

Might just take some time settling in. I think I’ve had these almost two years now so a long process 😳 @awomanonabike

I’ve just looked and they are still alive...not much happened to them last year but that makes me feel better 😊

These were free with my order - two seedlings, and I’ve always wanted a palm so a bonus 😀 #freeplants #trachycarpus #trachycarpus-fortunei

How are they doing? What did you do with them? Asking for a friend 😉😂

🤣😂 - well, I’d let your friend know that they can be potted up first, and keep protected over this first winter (although they are generally a very hardy palm as it gets bigger. They are quite slow growing, mine are still in the same pot and didn’t throw much new growth out last summer but it’s still alive. It will probably lose the original main leaf in a few months time but nothing to worry about as long as new foliage starts to emerge. Hope your friend enjoys them 😉 @awomanonabike
