#palm #snowcoveredpalm kinda crazy to see a palm snow covered!

@ShelleySnyder - What r u doing with a palm tree??! π΄πΊπΎ

@cschulz02 growing it!!π€£π€£π€£ We've had this palm for 15 years or more! Got one in the front yard too! The windmill palm is very very hardy, this has been incased in ice twice and I can't count how many snows and freezing temps! So there ya go!!π€£ππ

What a cool picture I see someone is going up to investigate!!!!

@ShelleySnyder - You are amazing. Youβll try anything, wonβt you?! Next thing I know, youβll have half of FL in your back yard! Planted & thriving. π΄πΊπΎ

@terrimclaughlin thanks Terri! Those were a gift, thought it was appropriate to have them scampering up the palm!ππ

@cschulz02 not anything but I will try things that are right at the limit! Cuz you just never know!π€£ππ

@ShellySynder... that is something you do not see much... very hardy palm tree...I just read you have had it for 15 years...wow!

@nancyanne windmill palms are a very tough palm! I'm not positive but I'm thinking the low zone is 5 on it. When you start looking around you actually see a lot of them in the Seattle and outlying area's ππ

@columbiariver thanks Laura!!ππ

Is beautiful.I want it. It is so cool to have it in the gardenπ

@kvetinka these palms are very tough Betty you should check them out, they may be hardy enough for your garden!ππ

#palm #windmillpalm just lookin up at my palmπ΄π΄π΄

Wow!! I love palm trees... I want one so bad, but don't think it would live here thru the Winter.. They are pricey too!

@Angie612 what zone are you in? I'm in zone 8 this palm has been thru numerous Snow's and been totally encased in ice twice!! I also have a palm in my front yard that's just a little bit smaller. I can tell you that if you were to get one you need to start with a pretty good sized one , to be sure it could survive.ππ

@ShelleySnyder IDK what zone I'm in π I live in the Piedmont North Carolina.. We don't have any here.. I've seen them as far from the coast as Rockingham but not any closer than that..

@Angie612 what is your usually low temp in winter?

@Angie612 ok I just looked it up and unless you're in Cherokee county you should be able to grow windmill palmsπππππ

Wow, nice! Looks very thick and hearty...

@nancyanne Thank you!! It actually is!ππ

πI would like this palm in my garden.but in our country it don't survivedπ

@kvetinka so sorry Betty!ππ

Wow fantastic π΄π΄π΄β€οΈπ

@juliesgarden thanks Julie!!ππ
