I love flower and vegetable gardening. Lucky to live on an island on the Southern BC Coast with a large variety of native and introduced species.

Wow! Prolific is a good descriptor. My question is: do I have to prune it for the winter? Will new leaves grow on the old vines in the spring or just start from scratch? (I also have the same question for my passionflower and jasmine.) #honeysuckle #help #pruning

Thanks Terry. Lonicera japonica isn't invasive in our area. (Imagine my surprise to find that Butterfly Bush and Bachelor's Buttons are!) Thanks for the reminder though.
