I have a mixture of hostess and caladiums. This is a shady area that I'm trying to line up along wood line. It does get filter sun. I'm not from this area so I'm having a hard time to get something to grow in Sandy soil. Any suggestions

@seeetgum I would mix compost into your soil and mulch around them. Water frequently until established and fertilize occasionally.

Impatiens grew well for me in sandy soil. Pay attention to the moisture

Thank all of you for your advice. I'm really new at this because of the sand. It has been hard to get use to. How can I get earth worms in my Sandy soil?
