Locally grown on allotments this #dahlia my absolute favourite, sold in local healthfood shop for £1 a stem, bargain if you ask me :) never grown dahlias but have been given Dahlia Natal, another pompon variety, will be planting this weekend :)

It is beautiful - I've got an orange one same shape 'Sylvia' - but saw one like this at an exhibit by the national society of dahlias. I have a specialist grower near me in Herts, and I'm patiently waiting for them to start selling there cuttings for some select ones on my list. Got a couple of new tubers already 😁 @mojo @Squares

Yep, not sure where they are all gonna go 😂 - it's Ayletts Nurseries in St Albans - they have a dahlia festival every year in September, and a massive dahlia trial ground. The link is below, but just noticed they dont seem to have an online shop... It's just down the road for me so always go in myself.
