The bishop of llandaff is a good dahlia

It has been really worth while this year as they have flowered so much! @Chester14

So pleased with these particular dahlias. I need to find a way of storing them for next year! Hopefully there will be a how to video as I lost all of last year's tubers! ! 😃

They're on my wishlist. I dutifully lifted and stored my tubers in the first year I had them but then got lazy and have left them in pots/in the ground since. Perhaps because they're in a sheltered position and winters have been mild, I've been very lucky not to lose them. Same with my gladioli. I really should be a good girl this year again though! xx

@beckers1974 despite lifting mine I still lost them so I to was tempted too let nature do it's thing but my main dahlia border is clay so they would probably rot over winter even if I mulched! Will see!

Ps @beckers1974 didn't realise you had to lift gladioli too!

@SylviaDavies my gardens are clay too but (touch wood) the one tuber in the ground has survived thus far!
