I find that to be true. I think sometimes when a plant is divided it weakens the cultivar and reverts to the original parent plant. 🤔🌞

#hostachallenge2021 #hostachallenge Hostas are a novice gardeners best friend -- they will withstand all kinds of abuse and neglect. I planted two shoots separated from a mature hosta last summer directly into Virginia red clay with no soil supplements or fertilizer and look at them now!
