Am super excited about this rose this summer. I chose it because it smells so good. Something has been having a dig around the roots though, I hope it won't be detrimental. #roses #gertrudejekyll #excited (March 2017)

The soil disturbance shouldn't be a problem as it looks like it's only on the top and roses roots grow quite deep.good time of year to mulch with well rotted manure to keep moisture in and feed it up for the season ahead 😊
