@dpkgujar you should be able to import seed and grow them if your country allows seed imports. They are supposedly fairly easy to grow. 😊

@ohhyouknow - yes, sandy well draining soil. They are pretty happy there. I just added the outer ring to my collection. 🥰

I love the colors! I'm gonna try putting mine outside this coming spring!

@veepaisal - mine has been outside winter and summer. In saying that though, they are under cover behind shade cloth. Plus, we don't get the harsh winters you guys do.

Lol yeh they prob will die if I left them out in my winter lmao but I'm gonna try introducing them to some fresh air and sunlight come spring @Yollymac

@momoko625 - wow thank you! Truth is with these they are ridiculously hard to identify so I put all my ones bought unidentified under Lithops and document the ones I buy with names only. I would like to try and grow some from seed next! 😍

Are they ok with the watering? I’ve never had lithops but I heard neglect is important.

@dufflebag - Yeah I had a situation which I am needing to remedy. You do need to water them occasionally, like one a month and only a little.

@bechamdorf - ooh show me please! I had stones in mine but after they got caught in unexpected rain I had to very quickly save them and popped them straight in the dry sand.

@pixierose - you haven’t necessarily gone wrong. I had them in a premium soil mixed with course pebbles before this and they did fine. I had to do an intervention however as they got caught in some unexpected rain we got here and no one was home to bring them inside. I read however that many just grow them in course sand. So let’s see what they do. It’s hard to say this is where you went wrong as to work that out we really need to know everything about the conditions you kept them in.
