I have a tiny farmhouse in rural PA w/ lots of fields & forest... I enjoy being surrounded by as many plants as possible, both outdoors & in my home!

@sukka-lent All you have to do is plant the top (part you'd cut off & throw out anyway) with just a few cm under the soil. It should begin rooting itself & will eventually grow a new plant out from the center of the old one 🙂 We have ours indoors for now, since it's winter here, but you could probably get away with growing it outside 😁

@sukka-lent I think you can also place the top in a glass of water first, to get the roots started, if you'd prefer that 😊

Matt brought this #pineapple top home from work for me, so I can (hopefully) grow a new plant from it 😋 #gyo #pineapple-propagation
