Bowles Mauve jostling for position in the front garden - everything has put a spurt on! 💜💜💜

Do I deadhead wallflowers? Will they keep flowering? 🤷‍♀️ I know everyone says they just keep going but should I be doing anything to help them? #advice needed, thanks 💜

I take the shears to them once the flowers have mostly gone over. There are always more buds in the crowns ready to take over. Mine flowered right through last winter, never completely without flowers!

I did mine yesterday!

If you look down the spent flowers you can normally see a side shoot cut your spent flower to that and it will continue to bloom for you I do that with all mine 😆

I haven't had these particular ones before but was inspired to give them a go by many people on GT who rave about them. @anges This will flower almost year round, a real trouper however it can get quite large so maybe put it at the back of a border.
