1 Nov 18 • Seriously, if you haven’t got one of these in your garden you’d better have a good excuse 🤓 This is a teeny little bit that I just pulled off and plonked in the soil a few months ago, and it’s already flowering. In November 💜💚💜 #erysimum-bowles-mauve #erysimumbowlesmauve
Good lad! Glad to hear it 😉😂 @Jasonsparkes1
Ooh I have! Just one of the best plants...ever!! How did I not know about these before GT?! 🤷🏻♀️
Love this plant, I pulled out 3 old ones this year & put in new ones, they’re still in flower now!
No idea Rachel 🙄😂 #bestplantever @rachelbrooks
😂😂 great # 👍🏼
They just flower and flower and flower don’t they Deborah 💜 @jerseylily
I thought it was new but apparently there is another #bestplantever Hard to believe I know 🤷♀️ @rachelbrooks
Oh I had that as well and lost it in the beast from the east! 😭
It looked a bit tender, so doesn’t qualify for #bestplantever IMHO @rachelbrooks
Yes. I’ll stick with Bowles Mauve I think! ☺️
I've got rwo, just love them 💜💜

19 Apr 2018 • Having looked so near to death Bowles Mauve is now strutting it’s stuff with the Camellia 💜💚💜
Gorgeous combo Jacqueline @awomanonabike 💜😍👌😘
Looks great 👍🏼
Thanks Suzie @jadojado29
Thanks Elaine. So much better than it looked a few weeks ago 🙄 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
I love this! X x
Thank you Claudia. One of those fortunate accidents 😊 @clipperty

6 March 2018 • I really thought I had lost these. Only 3 days between the photo on the left and the one on the right - and several degrees C. 😊💜😊💜😊
Afternoon Jacqueline @awomanonabike just goes to show what a difference several degrees can do & in such a short time Looks Fab now 👍😘
I’m so pleased Suzie. They really did look dead 😱 @jadojado29
#toughasboots #wallflower
Looking great now 👍😊
Phew😀
I can’t quite believe how well it has recovered Sue 😊 @susanhumphrey333
Absolutely Denise! I got close to getting my secateurs out on Sunday... 😅 @Denise16
It already is one of mine Laura. I’d have been so unhappy if I’d lost them - they surround the camellia and have been really happy there 😊😊 @columbiariver
I thought my Japonica had died, it looked so bad. Wish I had taken a pic of it before, as it's perked up, no damage done 👍😊
That’s great Sue. Plants are much more resilient than we give them credit for 😉 @susanhumphrey333
Blimey didn’t take that long...

Has anyone else had this happen? No obvious damage but half of this has upped and died and the other half is healthy as anything. It’s not a major problem as I take cuttings every autumn, but it’s never done this before 🤔
They seem to flower themselves to death. Good to safeguard with cuttings... wish I’d done that with my purple one 🤨 x x
They do don’t they but it’s never done it half at a time! A gardening friend once just snipped some shoots and plonked them into the same pot and they grew fine, so I’ve done the same thing ever since. Sorry to hear about yours 😢 @clipperty
Neil’s Nan used to do that too - even well into her eighties!! If I start now....😆 xx
Go girl! 😂😂 @clipperty
Oh dear, I hope it doesn’t spread Jacqueline 😕😕
I’ve cut the dead bits off so we will see but they do have a habit of just upping and dying on you. As Claudia said, probably from exhaustion 😉 @pelly @clipperty
Thanks Jacqueline and Claudia @clipperty I will remember to take some cuttings of mine then. 👍👍
Found myself in a GC yesterday but they didn’t have any Bowles Mauve 😕 xx
Well you’ll just have to get yourself up here then Claudia and take a cutting 🌱 @clipperty
Hold on 🚴♀️🚴♀️🚴♀️
😂😂😂 Pedal like that and you’ll be here by morning! @clipperty

19 January 2018 • And we’re off again! This only just stopped flowering a few weeks ago 💜
Wonderful 💜💜
It’s a great plant. Have you got one Jane? Wonderful little worker 😂 @pelly
My favourite discovery last year! Just flowers and flowers and flowers 💜
I have two and a bi-colour sugar rush Jacqueline, but I'm glad you asked as I haven't put the Bowles Mauve in my directory, strange though as the other one is and I bought them at the same time. I got them from the sick bay at Wyevale last year. 💜💜
It’s a great discovery isn’t it. Every garden should have it 💜 @rachelbrooks
You were probably just distracted by your love of your new plant 😉💜😂 @pelly
Or several! 😬☺️

Oh, it's all starting to happen out there! #springiscoming
I hope so! There are several in a pot surrounding a pale yellow camellia. When they are both in flower it means spring has sprung! @gjones
Oh what a lovely thought Jacqueline. 😊😊
Just makes me feel a little panicky as I haven't finished all the autumn/winter jobs yet @pelly 😩
Have any of us Jacqueline? I certainly haven't, but we will get there, positive thinking is the order of the day. @awomanonabike 😀😀
That's sounds a lovely combination! 💜💛

Such a great plant. Although it may not be long lasting it's incredibly easy to propagate. I take cuttings & just push them in the neighbouring soil. Done!
1 Apr 2019 • Such a great plant 💜
Aww lovely 😍 mine died it got bluw over from the wind and never recovered
What a shame Kimmy. Did you manage to take any cuttings? @kimmy01
They never stop do they. One of mine looks more like a shrub now, it's so big. I'm going to have to split it again!! 💜💜
It’s definitely a #desertislandplant 🎶 @pelly
I love that shade of purple!!
It is a fabulous colour Rebecca. Really vibrant 💜 @beccamurgo
That's a really good colour combo 😊
I’m looking forward to seeing your N. Thalia and Bowles Mauve combo next spring 🌱 @ublaszko
Me too! 😊
