Oh wow what a coincidence, my friend bought a bunch last Thursday and they were in bud and she bought them as she liked the colour then when they opened they were yellow, I looked it up for her and discovered why…x

@clearglass what did you find out? I would love to know as it is my first time growing them

Cultivation. Best in a deep, fertile, humus-rich soil that is moist but well-drained in a sheltered position in full sun or partial shade. May need support. See Peony cultivation: herbaceous for further information.
