I love wisteria, mine has died this year and the trunk is 18 inches around it. I don't think I'll be able to replace it as I won't be able to get the root out.

@laura if you can get someone in the grind out the stump it might be worth trying again

I just dug up mine cos for a few years now leaf overshadowed puny flowers. Root was pretty rotted so was easy explains why display so poor. Can you @darrenvenables recommend variety with really long racemes please
