Paeonia

My 1st ever. Can't wait to see how it goes!

I've planted my first ever paeony this year too. I loved them as a child because my neighbour had a beautiful red type...not sure what it was but it was gorgeous! Good luck with your paeony, deepblu, keep posting pics!!

As it's only small it may not flower this year, and they don't like being too deep in the pot. The tubers should be near the surface. Good luck!

Peonys are my absolute favourite! I have one in a very large pot that actually started life as a present for my nan, from my grandad in their garden over 40 years ago - I never do anything with it and it flowers beautifully every year. I also have a peony tree which is amazing and several 'pound shop' peonies! My advice plant them where they are going to stay they hate being moved and won't flower the year you move them!

I'm excited about as this is my first one. Unfortunately it'll hav 2 stay in a pot until we can find a house of our own but I'll giv it lots of love & perhaps next season I'll be blessed with a bloom or 2.
