Check out this strange leaf on my #avocado #avocadotree #avocadoleaf #oddshape #oddleaf #grown-from-seed 🧐
How odd. Is it the only one?
@richard.spicer.7906 Yes, it’s the only one so far. I noticed it last summer but was too busy and forgot about it. The tree itself looks great. I wonder what fertilized the seed 🤔
Hmm.

I up potted my #avocado today 🥰 #avocadotree #avocadolove #avocado-day #fastgrowingtrees
@gjones Thank you 😊 I really hope it will fruit for me someday 🙏
Is this a dwarf variety? I have read that my Avocado from the grocery store will not not bear fruit.
@kaigia Yes, it is a dwarf variety that I got from FastGrowingTrees.com. I also have several that I have grown from seed. I was told that grown from seed may not bear fruit and if it does it would take 15 years or so. This tree is grafted onto a dwarf rootstock and is supposed to bear fruit in a few years. I really don't know. We'll see. Only time will tell.

I potted up another #avocado #avocadotree #avocado-hass #gyo 😍💕🥰
Ooo does it really take 25 years for them to fruit? Btw your little tree looks very pretty
@midgetwizard Thank you 🥰 I think it takes 10 to 15 years. But it's only been less than a year. So, I've got some time 🙂

Very nice! Are those aphids on top? If so, hand squash them and leave their 💦. It will deter others from replacing them. 💕
@lovestogarden OMG! I didn't even know they were aphids 😞 That was really gross but I did it 🥴
@lovestogarden and thanks for letting me know 🙂 💕
I know. What we do for our plants. 😂

My #avocado has a #root 😀 💕 #propagation #gyo
How exciting! How old is this project?
I'm super excited 🥳 It's been About 3 weeks 💕 @kaigia
@Dragon_Warrior Wow yours rooted faster than mine. I think mine was about 6 to 8 weeks. My daughter kept laughing at it and telling me it wasn’t going to do anything, but I was persistent and stuck it out. Now I’m reading that I have to pinch back all the time so it fills out? How long do I wait to plant in soil?
@charyl I'm not completely sure when to put it in soil. But I've been told to wait until the roots are at least 2 inches long. I personally would probably wait a bit longer until a decent rootball is formed. But we can probably get some #avocado-advice from @cyndi 😁
Thanks 🙂 @cyndi
@cyndi have you gotten any fruit off of it yet? I have heard that alot of times when grown from the store bought fruit pits that you dont get a fruit bearing tree. But I dont see why you wouldn't. Idk?

I now have 2 different types of #avocado 🥰 The one on the left is a #hassavocado but I don't know what the one on the right is. The sticker says it's from Mexico. Any ideas?
@cyndi ,ok it just seems different. Bigger, rounder, darker.
Thanks, I like the 2nd link a lot 🙂 I just need #avocadotree in my life 🥰 @cyndi
I had a huge tree when I was growing up in south Florida. I would climb out my bedroom window onto the roof to pick fresh huge avocados 🤪💕
Today my thoughts and prayers are with my family and friends in Florida 🙏🌨🌪🌊 #hurricane-Ian #avocadotree #grownfromseed
