My Avocado plant is feeling the spring sun! It finally pushed out more than one stem with a chop to the main stem. March 2020

Lolz 😂 @kaigia I’ve been growing one in water for ages and I’ve got as far as bringing some compost in and a pot but not put them together yet!! Thanks for reminding me. 😁👍🏼

@pixierose All the tasks we gardeners need to get done! 😊 The question is when is it a good time to do the dreaded job of chopping the head 😱! I did it too early the first time and now, it's growing a little lopsided.

How did you start it? The toothpick method and held it onto of water?

@Outcast2099 Yes, I used the toothpick method. This is about one year old, but this one seems to be slow growing as I've seen others much taller than mine at the same age.
